2. Representation of Qualifications and Availability. 3. Standards of Practice. To furnish services in a manner consistent with the established and accepted standards of the profession and with the laws and regulations which govern its practice.
4. Conflicts of Interest. To endeavor to avoid conflicts of interest; and to disclose conflicts which may impair objectivity or integrity.
5. Fair Compensation. To negotiate fairly and openly with clients in establishing a basis for compensation, and to charge fees and expenses that are reasonable and commensurate with the services to be provided and the responsibilities and risks to be assumed.
6. Release of Information. To only make statements that are truthful, to keep information and records confidential when appropriate and to protect the proprietary interests of clients and professional colleagues.
7. Public Welfare. To not knowingly violate any law, statute, or regulation in the performance of services including but not limited to the Cayman Islands Building Code, the Trade & Business Licensing Law, the Companies Law (if incorporated), the Labour Law, the Immigration Law, the Health Insurance Law, the Public Service Pensions Law and the Workmen’s Compensation Law.
