Copy of current Trade & Business License OR a copy of the receipt of the renewal payment. We hereby pledge to abide by the CCA's Code of Ethics in our daily business operations

1. Client Service.

To serve all clients with honesty, integrity, candor, and objectivity. To provide services with competence, using reasonable care, skill and diligence consistent with the interests of the client.

2. Representation of Qualifications and Availability.

To only accept assignments for which the contractor is qualified by education, training, professional experience and/or technical competence, and to assign staff to projects in accordance with their qualifications, commensurate with the services to be provided, and to only make representations concerning qualifications and availability which are truthful and accurate.

3. Standards of Practice.

To furnish services in a manner consistent with the established and accepted standards of the profession and with the law sand regulations which govern its practice.

4. Conflicts of Interest.

To endeavor to avoid conflicts of interest; and to disclose conflicts which may impair objectivity or integrity.

5. Fair Compensation.

To negotiate fairly and openly with clients in establishing a basis for compensation, and to charge fees and expenses that are reasonable and commensurate with the services to be provided and the responsibilities and risks to be assumed.

6. Release of Information.

To only make statements that are truthful, to keep information and records confidential when appropriate and to protect the proprietary interests of clients and professional colleagues.

7. Public Welfare.

To not knowingly violate any law, statute, or regulation in the performance of services including but not limited to the CaymanIslands Building Code, the Trade & Business Licensing Law, the Companies Law (if incorporated), the Labour Law, the Immigration Law, the Health Insurance Law, the Public Service Pensions Law and the Workmen's Compensation Law.

8. Integrity of the Profession.

To avoid actions which promote self-interest at the expense of the profession, and to uphold the standards of construction with honor and dignity.

The requirements for membership are:

  1. Possession of  a  current   Trade  and   Business License  and  when   the  Builders Law  and Regulations  are  implemented registration in one  of the  categories in accordance with the Law.
  2. Sponsorship by a CCA member/representative.
  3. Acceptance of the Code of Conduct and Articles and Memorandum of the CCA.
